Not a movement. Not a thought about what theyre saying or doing. Try to be ignorant and completely passive both externally and internally. Simply dont pay attention to it. With sadness and empathy.You take pity on the whole plethora of causes for such behavior.If youre gonna get angry, get angry with what caused your boss to behave like an idiot, dont get angry with him for being one.Turning the other cheek is neither a spiteful nor a crazy act. Its just refusing to respond to aggression, but seeing through it. Its understanding the whole cycle and acting accordingly.When you see the bigger picture and the reasons behind peoples actions, you put your blame elsewhere or better yet, the blame you put disperses over the width of the frame. You just turn away f rom it and get away from it. Because its bad.Theres no better way of pointing out the inadequacy of the assailants behavior and the futility of his actions. Remember that they want conflict.Their Ego needs the drama to provide a role for it to play and to reinstate its identity through that role.Dont give them what they want or what their Ego wants.Dont give them conflict.Give them what they need instead and thats peace. In order to do that, you yourself must be peaceful.Remember that they feel agitated because their sense of self is threatened by something. Remember that they already suffer. Dont add oil to the fire. Youll both get burned.Dont respond to their EgoIts their Ego trying to communicate with yours asking for confirmation.Even when they fight, Egos work together. They play a drama in which they mutually reassure each other of their existence.Instead of reacting, try to understand them.Silence is golden. Instead of speaking, listen to them without reacting or internally c riticizing their statements.Try to understand the causes of their behavior. Dont be afraid, its not the end of the world even if you get offended or even slapped. Just breathe and take it easy. Easy does it.Its not to say that you shouldnt know how to take care of yourself and protect yourself.This IS protecting yourself and protecting your opponent which demonstrates a higher level of skill.Imagine that a 4-year-old kid starts challenging you to a fight and kicking you.Do you respond to a challenge? No. You dont even feel challenged.Regard the passive-aggressive assailants as children because they do demonstrate an infantile behavior.Its just punishing others and emotionally blackmailing them and threatening them because they didnt get what they want. A Comparison of The Scarlet Letter and The House of the Seven Gables Nathaniel Hawthorne, one of Americas most renowned authors, demonstrates his extraordinary talents in two of his most famed novels, The Scarlet Letter and The House of the Seven Gables. To compare these two books seems bizarre, as their plots are distinctly different. Though the books are quite seemingly different, the central themes and Hawthornes style are closely related (Carey, p. 62). American novelist Nathaniel Hawthorne is most famous for his books THE SCARLET LETTER and THE HOUSE OF THE SEVEN GABLES, which are closely related in theme, the use of symbolism, characterization, and style. When Phoebe and Holgrave fall in love, heart and head are brought together to form a union that may end the curse forever (Sheldon, p. 16). The obvious and most prevalent theme in both books is the effect of sin. In The Scarlet Letter, Hester Prynnes sin was an understandably human one which arose from desire for the simple human bliss open to all mankind. At this point, Roger Chillingworth is capable of remorse and is still able to rejoin the great heart of mankind, but he is led astray into his own sin in which he pries into Dimmesdales heart, and his latent evil posses him (Rountree, p.89). In The House of the Seven Gables, this theme seems to come through as an inherited curse. Greed drives both Colonel and Jaffrey Pyncheon to encourage the persecution of a less powerful man, and then takes his land or inheritance. This sin is seen as a curse throughout the book as it influences all that the living do (Carey, p. 58). One of the characteristic themes of each book which helps to establish the setting, is the individual vs. society. Hester Prynnes battle with society is established immediately, and we are let to judge her for what she has done. They are the learning (behavioral) theory, Psychoanalytical theory, Humanistic theory, Cognitive theory, Biological theory, Evolutionary theory and Socio- cultural theory. STGs There are many dangerous gang in prison and out on the streets that are a security threat to prison staff and to public. These groups are called STGs or Security Threat Groups (gangs). Prisons and police officers try to control these gangs as much as possible so there could be the least threat as possible. Some of the main security threat groups are: The Aryan Brotherhood, The Ku Klux Klan, The Folks, The Nation of Islam, and MS 13.
